Jason Kelce’s hilarious reason for being upset with brother Travis Kelce’s highly scrutinized ‘graduation beer chug’

Jason Kelce is sticking up for his brother Travis Kelce. The world’s most famous siblings came under fire after Travis was seen chugging down a can of beer at their supposed graduation ceremony.

Last Thursday, the Kelce brothers hosted their first live episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast at their alma mater, the University of Cincinnati. The 34-year-old revealed that neither he nor his older brother had the opportunity to do the graduation walk. So the UC staff were kind enough to let them fulfill their wish.

We appreciate Cincinnati's president and athletic director for doing this. But it was kind of just a fun way to close out the night. Travis Kelce said

Both walked onto the stage, but Travis, who is the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, opened a can of beer, drank it, and then smashed it on the ground. He faced a lot of backlash on social media for not respecting the event.

In the latest episode of ‘New Heights‘, they addressed the ‘misunderstanding.’ According to the pair, it wasn’t an actual graduation ceremony.

Hopefully you guys can understand that me chugging the beer was because I had a beer in my hand and I had to receive the diploma. So I had to get the beer out of my hand somehow. Might as well just finish it. Travis Kelce added

Jason, who was a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles, also gave his honest and hilarious take on this.

If there's anything anybody should have been upset with, it's the fact that you didn't finish that chug. Jason Kelce said

Quite some serious reason to be upset, Jason. Social media might find this as an additional material to give some heat to the Kelce brothers.
